Rohan and Nachiketa went on a ride
This story teaches us that God is infinite.
Story
Today, Rohan went to his friend Saurabh's birthday party. Both friends had a great time at the party and enjoyed delicious food.
As they returned from the party, Rohan, feeling a bit sad, said to his mother, "Mom, Saurabh's house is so big and beautiful, but our house is not that big."
"There are many houses much bigger than Saurabh's, but in front of the infinite, they are all quite small," his mother replied.
"What is infinite, Mom? Tell me!" Rohan asked.
"Infinite is something that cannot be counted, measured, and has no beginning or end," his mother explained.
"What is it, Mom? Tell me!" Rohan insisted.
"Why not try to find the answer to this question yourself," his mother replied.
Rohan whispered to himself, "Nachiketa, you must know who the infinite one is. Now, you only can answer my question. With that, Rohan fell asleep.
Just then, through a secret tunnel, Nachiketa entered Rohan's room and said, "Come on, Rohan, let's go for a ride on your bicycle." They both sat on Rohan’s bicycle and flew through the air.
They first reached the Amazon forest. There were many trees with countless leaves. "These leaves must be infinite," Rohan said. All the leaves said, "No, we are not infinite. We can be counted."
From there, they flew to the shores of the Indian Ocean. "Ah! So much water. This must be infinite," Rohan exclaimed.
The waves of the ocean replied, "No, we are not infinite. We can be measured."
Now, they both took a swift flight to the Sahara Desert. "This sand must be infinite," Rohan said.
Just then, the sand spoke, "No, we are not infinite. We can be counted."
Finally, they took off into space. "Surely, these stars must be infinite," Rohan said.
The twinkling stars said, "No, we are not infinite. We can be counted."
"Now, Nachiketa! Tell me, isn't there anything in the world that is infinite?" Rohan asked disappointed.
Nachiketa responded, "Okay, tell me, can you measure how much your parents love you?"
"No," Rohan replied.
"That means their love for you is infinite. It has no beginning or end. God has no beginning, no end, He is infinite," said Nachiketa.
"I understand. Thank you, Nachiketa," Rohan said, and they both returned to Earth on the bicycle.
The next morning, Rohan came out of his dream. He hugged his mother and said, "Mom, I've learned that God is infinite."
